On
January 22, 1995, two bombs exploded at a bus stop at Beit Lid, Israel,
killing 21 and wounding 60. Palestinian Islamic Jihad claimed
responsibility for the attack. Andrea Levin took Anthony Lewis to task for
downplaying atrocities against Israelis.
"Jews have been murdered by the dozen
in buses and at bus stops. At Afula, Hadera, Tel Aviv, Beit Lid, Netzarim
and Ramat Gan." When PLO chairman, Yasir Arafat and
others in Palestine noted the anomalies and congruent timing in several
so-called "Hamas" atrocities, the editors of the Jerusalem Post
placed a spin on the allegations to deflect the very real possibility that
they were true.
Editorial from August 25, 1995:
THE complex Israeli-Palestinian relationship has given
birth to a nasty new myth which began, like many such myths, with a lie
so egregious that it could only be considered laughable. Now it
threatens to become conventional wisdom.
Soon after the Beit Lid massacre, in which 21 Israeli
soldiers were killed by two Islamic Jihad suicide bombers, Palestinian
Authority chief Yasser Arafat told a group of visiting dignitaries that
right-wing Israelis had collaborated with the killers. Otherwise, he
said, the killers could not have passed through several army checkposts
without being stopped.
The implications were mind-boggling: not only was
Arafat implying that Israelis would participate in the mass murder of
Israeli soldiers. He was saying that the Israeli conspirators were so
powerful that they could exercise control over the army units all along
the route the killers took from Gaza to Beit Lid.
Precedent for the sacrifice of Israelis has now been
documented and shown on Israeli television:
In 1951,
the director general of the Israeli Health Ministry, Dr. Chaim Sheba
flew to America and returned with 7 x-ray machines, supplied to him by
the American army.
They were to be used in a mass atomic experiment with an entire
generation of Sephardi youths to be used as guinea pigs. Every Sephardi
child was to be given 35,000 times the maximum dose of x-rays through
his head. For doing so, the American government paid the Israeli
government 300 million Israeli liras a year. The entire Health budget
was 60 million liras. The money paid by the American government is
equivalent to $50 billion in today's terms. To fool the parents of the
victims, the children were taken away on "school trips" and their
parents were later told the x-rays were a treatment for the scourge of
scalpal ringworm. 6,000 of the children died shortly after their doses
were given, the many of the rest developed cancers that killed them over
time and are still killing them now. While living, the victims suffered
from disorders such as epilepsy, amnesia, Alzheimer's disease, chronic
headaches and psychosis.
The
authorities are using the excuse that in 1948, x-rays were a common
treatment for head ringworm and that 35,000 times the exposure was
standard practise. This is nonsense. The standard treatment was
ultra-violet light on the hair and the danger of x-rays was very well
understood after nearly 60 years of use. (Can Zionists Harm Jews?)
The answer is obviously, "Yes! Even Israeli children."
Is that all? Well, no, there is also documented evidence that they
kidnapped 4,000 Jewish Yemeni children and shipped them in cages to the US
for radiation research in at about the same time. The young State of
Israel earned millions of dollars for this. During World War II, Zionists
worked closely with Nazis to find Jews fit for emigration to Palestine and
to transfer their valuables in the form of industrial equipment and cash.
The Ha'avara had made an agreement with Eichmann to dispossess Jews, put
them in "training camps" to learn a useful skill for the new nation that
was being secretly built. Again from
Can Zionists Harm Jews?
Levi Eshkol's role in the Holocaust was
far more sinister than merely not saving lives. He was busy taking them
instead. From a biography of Levi Eshkol from the Israeli government web
site:
"In 1937 Levi Eshkol played a central role in the establishment of the
Mekorot Water Company and in this role was instrumental in convincing the
German government to allow Jews emigrating to Palestine to take with them
some of their assets - mostly in the form of German-made equipment."
While world Jewry was boycotting the Nazi regime in the '30s, the Jewish
Agency in Jerusalem was propping up Hitler. A deal, called The Transfer
Agreement, was cut whereby the Nazis would chase Germany's Jews to
Palestine, and the Labor Zionists would force the immigrants to use their
assets to buy only German goods. Once the Jewish Agency got the German
Jews it wanted, those they secretly indoctrinated in the anti-Judaism of
Shabtai Tzvi and Jacob Frank, they let the Nazis take care of the rest of
European Jewry. The Holocaust was a eugenics program and Levi Eshkol
played a major role in it.
Shoenmann
(The Hidden History of Zionism) writes,
The dirty
secret of Zionist history is that Zionism was threatened by the Jews
themselves. Defending the Jewish people from persecution meant organizing
resistance to the regimes which menaced them. But these regimes embodied
the imperial order which comprised the only social force willing or able
to impose a settler colony on the Palestinian people. Hence, the Zionists
needed the persecution of the Jews to persuade Jews to become colonizers
afar, and they needed the persecutors to sponsor the enterprise.
Even the
Irgun was collaborating with the Nazis to use the German Jews for their
agenda. A document from the
Zionist Irgun Zvai Leumi (National Military Organization) still classified in
Britain outlines their relationship:
Common interests that could exist between the
establishment of a new order in Europe in conformity with the German
concept and the true national aspirations of the Jewish people as they are
embodied in the NMO (National Military Organization)
Cooperation between the new
Germany and a renewed Hebrew nation would be possible.
Although this Nazi collaboration has been known for years, the Jerusalem
Post spun the story:
The
visitors who heard the story, knowing that it could only be interpreted as
the ravings of a lunatic, kept it mostly to themselves.
Being supporters of the peace process, they thought
reporting it would embarrass Arafat and harm his credibility. But at
least one listener divulged its contents privately, and it became known.
To the amazement of many, Arafat kept repeating it both before visitors
from abroad and to visiting Israelis.
On Tuesday, the day after the bus bombing in
Jerusalem, Arafat decided to come out publicly with these "revelations."
He not only announced in Gaza that there was collaboration between what
he called "Israeli and Palestinian extremists," but that he had
documents proving it.
One of his lieutenants, Secretary-General of the
Palestinian Authority Tayeb Raheem, went into details. He said that the
Israeli army and other security services contained secret organizations
like the French OAS during Algeria's war of independence. They and the
Islamic fanatics have a common interest to defeat the Oslo agreement, he
said, repeating that the PLO has documents to prove the allegation.
On the Voice of Palestine radio he went further,
asserting specifically that these "extremist elements" want to weaken
both the PLO and the Israel Labor Party, and that they hope the Likud
will return to power. To prove his point he reminded his listeners that
the Islamic militants started growing under Likud rule and that there is
"coordination and collaboration" between them. Moreover, many of them
called on their followers inside Israel to vote for "extremist parties
like Shas."
Using the truth to spin a lie, the Jerusalem Post editor
wrote:
Raheem's "proof" for the collaboration between Israeli
rightists and the militants consists of testimony by Gaza residents
accused of recruiting young men for terrorist strikes. "They admitted
that they sent the two Islamic operatives who hit Beit Lid to the
Dahaniya camp, where only collaborators with Israel can enter, and that
the terrorists spent the night in Dahaniya, and got Israeli uniforms and
explosives there," he said. "We hope that Israeli decision-makers will
understand that there are forces in Israel who are coordinated with
extremist elements in Gaza."
But we have known for a long time that Israel has used
Islamists in their efforts to weaken the PLO and Arafat. According to the
Ha'aretz, 21 December 2002, a daily Israeli
newspaper, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Daniel Kurtzer made the connection
between the growth of the Islamic fundamentalist groups Hamas and Islamic
Jihad, and Israel's promotion of the Islamic movement as a counter to the
Palestinian nationalist movement. Kurtzer made these extraordinary
statements at a seminar on religion and politics sponsored by Oz
V'Shalom-Netivot Shalom, a largely Anglo-American organization that
promotes peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
Kurtzer observed that during the 1980s, when the Islamic movement began to
flourish in the West Bank and Gaza, "Israel perceived it to be better to
have people turning toward religion rather than toward a nationalistic
cause" meaning the Palestinian Liberation Organization.
Georges Szamuely writes in the New York Press Volume 15,
Issue 17, April 2002:
Starting in the late 1970s Israel helped build up the
most fanatical and intolerant fundamentalist Muslims as rivals to the
nationalist PLO. The terrorist organization Hamas is largely an Israeli
creation. A UPI story last year quoted a U.S. government official as
saying: "The thinking on the part of some of the right-wing Israeli
establishment was that Hamas and the other groups, if they gained
control, would refuse to have anything to do with the peace process and
would torpedo any agreements put in place."
The PLO has long been aware of Israeli strategy. In their 1989 book,
Intifada, Ze'ev Schiff and Ehud Ya'ari write that Fatah "suspected the
Israelis of a plot first to let Hamas gather strength and then to
unleash it against the PLO, turning the uprising into a civil war... [M]any
Israeli staff officers believed that the rise of fundamentalism in Gaza
could be exploited to weaken the power of the PLO."
According to Robert Fisk, Israeli support for Hamas continued after the
signing of the Oslo accords. One can be pretty sure that this strategy
received strong encouragement from Washington, which has also seen the
advantage of financing and supporting the most vicious and narrow-minded
Islamic terrorists on account of their antinationalist and antisocialist
credentials. Hamas also served Israel's purpose admirably by suggesting
to the American public that the conflict in the Middle East pitted
democratic Israel against all-or-nothing fanatics who wanted to drive
the Jews into the sea. Israel's refusal to surrender conquered land and
its continued building of settlements in violation of innumerable UN
resolutions could then all be justified as perfectly reasonable
responses to an implacable enemy.

In the 2002 edition of the French journal,
L'Humanité,
Hassane Zerouky wrote:
Let us not forget that it was Israel, which in fact
created Hamas. According to Zeev Sternell, historian at the Hebrew
University of Jerusalem, "Israel thought that it was a smart ploy to
push the Islamists against the Palestinian Liberation Organisation
(PLO)".
Ahmed Yassin, the spiritual leader of the Islamist movement in
Palestine, returning from Cairo in the seventies, established an Islamic
charity association. Prime Minister Golda Meir, saw this as a an
opportunity to counterbalance the rise of Arafat's Fatah movement.
According to the Israeli weekly Koteret Rashit (October
1987), "The Islamic associations as well as the university had been
supported and encouraged by the Israeli military authority" in charge of
the (civilian) administration of the West Bank and Gaza. "They [the
Islamic associations and the university] were authorized to receive
money payments from abroad."
The Islamists set up orphanages and health clinics, as well as a network
of schools, workshops which created employment for women as well as
system of financial aid to the poor. And in 1978, they created an
"Islamic University" in Gaza. "The military authority was convinced that
these activities would weaken both the PLO and the leftist organizations
in Gaza." At the end of 1992, there were six hundred mosques in Gaza.
Thanks to Israel's intelligence agency Mossad (Israel's Institute for
Intelligence and Special Tasks) , the Islamists were allowed to
reinforce their presence in the occupied territories. Meanwhile, the
members of Fatah (Movement for the National Liberation of Palestine) and
the Palestinian Left were subjected to the most brutal form of
repression.
In 1984, Ahmed Yassin was arrested and condemned to twelve years in
prison, after the discovery of a hidden arms cache. But one year later,
he was set free and resumed his activities. And when the Intifada
('uprising') began, in October 1987, which took the Islamists by
surprise, Sheik Yassin responded by creating the Hamas (The Islamic
Resistance Movement).
So the Jerusalem Post editorial scoffs at the allegation
that Israel might be complicit in some of the terrorism against their own
people:
It would be easy to dismiss such insults to the
intelligence as childish efforts to explain away Arafat's inability or
unwillingness to control Islamic terrorism. They are such crude
imitations of Nazi and Soviet techniques that they cannot be taken
seriously even as "Big Lie" propaganda.
If any group would know the Nazi and Soviet techniques,
it would be
Zionists.
Zionists dominated the leadership of the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917,
massacred millions of kulaks, farmers in the Ukraine, and ruled with an
iron fist until the 1991 "fake coup d' etat" in the Soviet Union. Even
then, Jews such as Boris Berezovsky and Roman Abramovich assumed control
of the Russian oligarchy and helped maneuver Yeltsin into the Russian
presidency and subsequently convinced Yeltsin to appoint Vladimir Putin as
Prime Minister.
The Jerusalem Post even makes this a political attack on
the Labor Party:
But the attempt to portray the Islamic terrorists as
opponents of the Labor government rather than as enemies of the State of
Israel (and Jews in general) is no longer confined to the PLO. Prime
Minister Yitzhak Rabin has often accused his opposition of collaborating
with Hamas by calling for the suspension of the talks with the
Palestinians; and the latest Hamas broadcast from Damascus, which vowed
to cause the fall of the Rabin government, has provided Labor with
ammunition.
The Peace Bloc faction of the peace camp, whose
slogans are all too often taken up by Labor, yesterday published an
advertisement alleging that, "There is now a partnership-of-purpose
between the enemies of peace of the two nations - [aimed at] toppling
Rabin and Arafat, burying the Oslo agreement, and preventing
reconciliation between [Palestinians and Israelis.]" The New York Times
headlined a story on Wednesday, "Arab Militants and Israeli Rightists
Both Seek to Oust Rabin."
Unable to prove who actually was behind the terrorist
attack, the Jerusalem Post sets up barriers to belief that it might have
something to do with Israel's own covert action to manipulate the
political debate:
Before obscene parallels are drawn between the
democratic opposition in Israel and Hamas terrorists, it may be wise to
realize that fanatic Moslem leaders always personalize their enemies.
Ayatollah Khomeini considered then president Jimmy Carter his nemesis
and - vowing to bring about his downfall - refused to release the
American Embassy hostages before Carter left office. Saddam Hussein made
his war with the West a personal vendetta with then president George
Bush. For Hamas, the current villain is Rabin, who expelled 400 of its
operatives in 1992 and arrested 4,000 of them in the past few months. To
suggest that Hamas would rather see the Likud in power is to trivialize
the depth of its hatred for Israel.
It is not difficult to imagine what the pairing of
Likud and Hamas is intended to achieve. The agreement between Arafat's
PA and Hamas allows the Islamic organization to function with impunity
in Gaza. The latest GSS bust of a Hamas cell responsible for the recent
bus bombing has revealed that the suicide bombers received their
training and instructions in Gaza. All Israeli security agencies agree
that none of Arafat's nine security forces is truly fighting the
terrorist groups. There is no better way to deflect attention from this
dereliction than to charge that Israel's right wing helps the
terrorists. It would be a shame if the Labor Party stoops to using this
charge for its own election purposes.
Zeroutky
notes that the Islamic right wing, the fundamentalists, have common issues
with Zionist factions, particularly the Likud.
Ahmed Yassin was in prison when, the Oslo accords
(Declaration of Principles on Interim Self-Government) were signed in
September 1993. The Hamas had rejected Oslo outright. But at that time,
70% of Palestinians had condemned the attacks on Israeli civilians.
Yassin did everything in his power to undermine the Oslo accords. Even
prior to Prime Minister Rabin's death, he had the support of the Israeli
government. The latter was very reluctant to implement the peace
agreement.
The Hamas then launched a carefully timed campaign of attacks against
civilians, one day before the meeting between Palestinian and Israeli
negotiators, regarding the formal recognition of Israel by the National
Palestinian Council. These events were largely instrumental in the
formation of a Right wing Israeli government following the May 1996
elections.
Quite unexpectedly, Prime Minister Netanyahu ordered Sheik Ahmed Yassin
to be released from prison ("on humanitarian grounds") where he was
serving a life sentence. Meanwhile, Netanyahu, together with President
Bill Clinton, was putting pressure on Arafat to control the Hamas. In
fact, Netanyahu knew that he could rely, once more, on the Islamists to
sabotage the Oslo accords. Worse still: after having expelled Yassin to
Jordan, Prime Minister Netanyahu allowed him to return to Gaza, where he
was welcomed triumphantly as a hero in October 1997. (http://globalresearch.ca/articles/ZER403A.html
)
The actions of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu of the
Likud Party are more than transparent. It is obvious that Netanyahu was
playing Hamas as a stooge, maneuvering Hamas to launch an atrocity when it
was needed. The key is always, "who benefits?" Why was an atrocity
beneficial to Zion? Zeroutky explains:
Arafat was helpless in the face of these events.
Moreover, because he had supported Saddam Hussein during the1991 Gulf
war, (while the Hamas had cautiously abstained from taking sides), the
Gulf states decided to cut off their financing of the Palestinian
Authority. Meanwhile, between February and April 1998, Sheik Ahmad
Yassin was able to raise several hundred million dollars, from those
same countries. The the budget of The Hamas was said to be greater than
that of the Palestinian Authority. These new sources of funding enabled
the Islamists to effectively pursue their various charitable activities.
It is estimated that one Palestinian out of three is the recipient of
financial aid from the Hamas. And in this regard, Israel has done
nothing to curb the inflow of money into the occupied territories.
The Hamas had built its strength through its various acts of sabotage of
the peace process, in a way which was compatible with the interests of
the Israeli government. In turn, the latter sought in a number of ways,
to prevent the application of the Oslo accords. In other words, Hamas
was fulfilling the functions for which it was originally created: to
prevent the creation of a Palestinian State. And in this regard, Hamas
and Ariel Sharon, see eye to eye; they are exactly on the same wave
length. (

)
The Talmudic horror of Zionism makes probable the using
of Arabs to carry out Zionist policy and political manipulation. False
flag operations are their bread, butter and jelly. Using atrocities
against Israeli civilians serves the greater cause of Greater Israel. The
timing of Sharon/Likud political moves and terrorist attacks are amazingly
congruent. In the case of the infamous wall in Palestine, there was an
attack immediately following the International Court of Justice ruling
against Israel.
