Contrails....or Chemtrails ?

I remember growing up with streaks across the sky from high flying aircraft. It lent a bit of mystery to a rural childhood, even a bit of excitement and dreams of adventure. The contrails I remember, however, disappeared after several minutes, never hanging for hours in the sky, spreading and drifting downward. I hadn't noticed these more recent, strange aerosol clouds until 2000 when Kay mentioned them and called them "chemtrails." "No. You mean contrails, don't you?" I had said. "No," she insisted. "These are different and when the sky is laced with them the hospitals are usually full. Even the hospital workers had noticed." So I started looking at the sky again and began to notice the differences. Then I went to the internet and found some very disturbing information. In 1998, at a conference on Planetary Emergencies in Italy, Edward "father of the H-bomb" Teller proposed creating a "planetary sunscreen" by seeding the stratosphere with (approx. 10 million) tons of very fine reflective powders, mostly aluminum oxide. This was to be accomplished by adding these powders, called Welsbach Materials, to jet fuel. The result would be a white jet trail not unlike normal water vapour contrails except that these "powder contrails" would not eventually disappear. They would spread evenly out over the sky, raising the planets' albedo so that about 1% of incoming sunlight would be reflected into space. This, Teller's group had calculated, would be sufficient to stall Global Warming.
The intractable stance of the US and Canada at the recent meeting in the Hague lends credence to the idea that these countries are protecting corporate profits and our consumer lifestyles by secretly utilizing a techno-fix for Global Warming instead of addressing the real problem, our ever increasing addiction to fossil fuels. approached the governments of the G-7 nations with strong warnings that Global
Warming was threatening not just their profit margins but the continued
existence of their industry and the financial system itself.
Late
in 1998 people in various NATO countries began reporting unusually numerous,
white, thick and long-lasting jet trails, often laid out by identical planes
resembling US Air Force tankers crisscrossing the sky. Many people fell ill and
some died after this exposure. Since
then this activity has been reported almost continuously, especially in the
United States and Canada.
