The Pew Report and the books, Empty Ocean and Perfect Ocean that reported that steep decline of marine predator fish populations are not widely broadcast because to do so would lead inexorably to a realization that we are the cause, and more importantly, we are equally affected by the cause.

The Messages from the Orca are not only that the oceans are dying because of our pollution and genocide of wild species, but that man is dying because of his own craziness caused fundamentally by heavy metal poisoning, principally mercury and that there are excellent alternatives to make our life better and POSSIBLE .

Mercury pollution washes into waterways and builds up in fish. The bigger the fish, the more mercury it contains.

Over time, the metal can accumulate in fish-eaters' bodies, too. High enough levels can damage the growing brains of fetuses and young children. About 8 percent of women of childbearing age have enough mercury in their blood to put a fetus at risk.

Far less is known about the potential dangers of mercury-containing seafood in other people. Consumer advocates say about 3 million people are extreme seafood lovers, eating so much of it per week that, depending on what varieties they choose, they might be at risk, too.

Still, exposure by fetuses and young children are clearly the biggest concern. The FDA's scientific advisers recently urged the government to stress low-mercury choices for women of childbearing age and youngsters, so the FDA is rewriting its seafood recommendations. The new list is due out next spring.

For now, a review of FDA's mercury measurements in 39 seafood varieties shows:

• Salmon, oysters, whitefish, sea bass, freshwater trout, and sardines contain both high levels of heart-healthy omega-3s and low mercury levels, below 0.13 parts per million.

• Other low-mercury choices include perch, king crab, flounder, sole, pollock, catfish, croaker, scallops, crawfish, shrimp, clams, and tilapia. They contain less omega-3s, but servings can add up.

• Tuna is controversial, because different varieties contain different amounts of both mercury and heart-healthy fats. Canned light tuna contains a small amount of omega-3, about as much as shrimp, and fairly low 0.13 ppm mercury. But fresh tuna steaks and the more expensive canned white or albacore tuna contain three times as much mercury, and almost as much omega-3 as salmon.

But how much is too much when a little is too much? There is no safe level for mercury.

We received an email from one of our visitors with what to her was an unusual story.  She had been taking quite a few healthy supplements including colloidal silver, one ounce of 15 ppm twice each day for several years. For the last few months she had had a little pain in the muscles of her hand. In the last 2-3 weeks she felt tiredness at the moment she drank the colloidal silver. Then "the tiredness became extremely strong and then it became squeezing strong chest pain" which continued throughout the night. She stopped taking colloidal silver and, with aspirin, "the pain gradually went away within 4-5 days. After 12 days of 'resting' from CS, I started it again and the same story repeated immediately."

I replied as follows:.

Clearly the Colloidal Silver is affecting you but "why?" is the question.

First there might be a problem with how much you are taking. Two ounces is a lot, especially if it is taken orally and swallowed. In the digestive tract, CS would deplete your beneficial flora.

Second, there could be a problem with the quality of the Colloidal Silver. If it has changed color or was not goldish or clear at the first, it would tantamount to drinking a heavy metal, which is what silver is.

Third, as a heavy metal, when it was found in its natural form there was probably mercury and other heavy metals involved. Mercury especially is a neurotoxin that can cause the symptoms you described. Not all of the mercury is removed in the refining process and it doesn't take much. That combined with an environment that is loaded with mercury in the elemental form, ionic form and as a vapor.

The Orcas' Message is, in part, that this cavalcade of mercury intoxication is found in just about everything we do and own. If you are a painter, some of the paints acquire their vibrancy from the mercury compounds involved. You breathe mercury vapors in the process of painting and they off-gas forever after from the artwork. The cotton in your clothing, towels, Q-tips or cotton balls usually contains mercury from the defoliant used to prepare cotton fields for harvest. Plastics contain mercury. Fuels such as coal contain mercury. Fish contain mercury....tuna, sardines, etc.  Even the coal-tars used to make aspirin may contain mercury. Mining releases mercury from the earth. Chlor-alkali plants exhaust vast quantities into the air and waters. Hospitals become killing zones because of the mercury from innumerable broken thermometers and from many other sources including the cleaning and disinfecting products. Paper products contain mercury residues from the manufacturing process.

This is a mercury planet. Hermes, also known as Mercury by the Romans, is revered as the god of Commerce. Hermes is the god who gave Pandora the Box. Can you guess what came out of Pandora's Box? Mercury was used by ancient cave artists to create their beautiful art....using cinnabar, the ore of mercury; used by the Romans as an intoxicant rubbed on their body. If you have ever wondered why this is such a crazy planet, you can begin to recognize that we are at the Mad Hatter's Tea Party.

You could use a qualified naturopathic physician or a knowledgeable nutritionist. Too much water , especially distilled water, can deplete minerals even if you are adding Celtic Sea Salt.

St. John's Wort can also cause problems. Are you using St. John's Wort for depression? If so, consider using serotonin optimizer, an herbal anti-depressant from corn leaf tips. serotonin optimizer helps the body produce serotonin which would help mood, sound sleep, and even help increase immunity in place of the Colloidal Silver.

Soon we will be marketing a new technology that traps mercury and other soft heavy metals so that they are removed from interaction with the environment. Bringing this to industry to begin removing the mercury from the products and processes will make remediation easier. The planet has become toxic to all electrically based living things and power and greed are the symptoms of those who are affected the most. Most of the rest of us continue to do things that pollute because we just can't see the effects or find it easy to deny them.
